Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026

Applied Conformance provides on-site IPC training and certification for electronics manufacturers. This policy explains what we collect through appliedconformance.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have a question about any of it, email hello@appliedconformance.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote or email yourself an estimate, we collect what you enter in the form:

  • Your name, company and work email
  • Your phone number, if you add it
  • Your facility city
  • The standard you are interested in, how many people need training and your timeframe
  • Your industry, if you choose to tell us
  • Any notes you add

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers receive basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that sent you here. Our customer records system, HubSpot, sets cookies that recognize your browser when you come back and connect your page visits to any form you later submit. Google Analytics and Google Ads also set cookies that tell us how people use the site and whether a visit that started with one of our Google ads led to a quote request or estimate.

Information about students

When a company books training, it gives us a roster of the students taking the class, including names and IPC account details, so we can register each student for certification.

How we use it

  • To answer quote requests and send the estimates you ask for
  • To follow up about your request
  • To schedule, deliver and invoice training
  • To register students with IPC, now the Global Electronics Association, so each certification is issued and traceable
  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it
  • To measure whether our Google ads bring in quote requests and estimates
  • To keep business records and meet legal requirements

We do not sell your personal information. We do use Google Ads remarketing cookies so our ads can reach people who have visited our site. The Cookies section below explains this and how to opt out.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run our website and business: HubSpot (customer records and site analytics), Resend (email delivery), Netlify (website hosting), Google Analytics (site analytics), Google Ads (measuring our ads) and Google Fonts (the typefaces on this site). They handle information on our behalf and only for those purposes.
  • IPC, now the Global Electronics Association, for student registration and certification records.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights or someone's safety.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

Cookies and Do Not Track

HubSpot, Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies on our website. We use them for our own customer records, to see how the site is used, and to count when someone who clicked one of our Google ads goes on to request a quote or an estimate. Google Ads also uses its cookies for remarketing: if you visit our site, you may later see our ads on Google and on other websites. Google, not us, decides where those ads appear, based on its own cookies.

When you request a quote or email yourself an estimate, our site also gives Google Ads your email address and phone number in hashed form, a one-way code rather than the readable details. Google uses it only to match your request to a click on one of our ads, so we can tell which ads bring in business. We skip this if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

You can opt out of personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and from many ad companies at once at optout.aboutads.info. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of ad personalization, and our site turns it off for your visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and customer information for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and afterward as long as we need it for records, certification history or legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

  • See, correct or delete your information. Email hello@appliedconformance.com and tell us what you need. We will confirm your request and respond promptly.
  • Stop follow-up emails. Reply to any email from us and ask, or email us directly.
  • California residents can make these requests too. We do not sell personal information. Our use of Google Ads remarketing cookies, and the hashed contact details we give Google Ads to measure our ads, may count as "sharing" for advertising under California law. You can opt out with the choices in the Cookies section, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

How we protect it

The site runs over a secure connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people and providers who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
